About Us
We're a café but also a forever home for our resident cats and those who visit. We acknowledge animals' therapeutic powers, and our environment encourages people to wind down, smile, and participate in low-key efforts with their new feline friends. They're not going anywhere; none of our cats are up for adoption. They're our family. They're community members.
🧩 What Makes Us Unique
We don't throw crazy shindigs or parties—but what we offer is so much better: a space where one can just exist. For example, there might be a cat puzzle out on the coffee table that invites guests to relax, pause, and engage (unless, of course, the cats don't let them!).
Guests are welcome to use their phones for photos, but I noticed that most put their phones away to be in the moment.
A Slice of Purrfection is all about engagement through dialogue, interaction, and a sense of community—many leave not only feeling relaxed but with new friends from once being strangers.
🌸 A Safe and Supportive Space
We are a public café, and we are a non-judgmental haven and an all-inclusive space. Whether you suffer from anxiety and need to spend the day quietly and focus, get an coffee to celebrate a small victory, have a non-visible or visible disability, or just need a calm day out—we welcome you at any time. We know what it's like to need a respite to recharge and to be recognized.
🐱 Therapy With Cats
A Slice of Purrfection revolves around:
It's therapeutic with cats.
The soothing purr of a cat on your lap, the peaceful atmosphere, the smiles exchanged—it's the simple things that go a long way for mental wellness. We see the results every day and that's why we do it.
